Carlita & R. G. Huff

WorshipRx.com is run primarily by R. G. Huff, a semi-retired minister of music whose ministry took him from Tennessee to Texas to Denver, Kansas City and finally to Chapel Hill, NC where he retired from University Baptist Church. His wife Carlita is a retired legal assistant having worked in law firms in all the places they have lived, most recently as assistant to the chief legal officer of Baylor Scott and White Hospital System in Dallas. She helps him edit and re-check most everything before it goes up.

A native of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, R. G. is a graduate of Carson Newman University (BA in Biblical Studies) and Southwestern Seminary (Masters in Church Music). He currently teaches as an adjunct in the College of Fine Arts at Dallas Baptist University, is the creative director of the non-profit Waxahachie’s Old Fashioned Singing Project, and keeps up this web-site.

A hymn-writer and anthem text-writer, he has several things in print. The hymns and anthems posted here for purchase are not in publication elsewhere.

R. G and Carlita live in Waxahachie, Texas – her hometown – and have two adult sons, one daughter-in-law, and four grandsons.

As this site develops, we hope to provide more and more materials to help you in your ministry in the free-church traditions.
