TEXT:
As a deer pants for fresh water,
So my soul longs after thee.
Lord, I thirst for streams refreshing
Flowing forth from you to me.
Deep within, my life is troubled –
So disturbed, my downcast soul.
Yet my hope is ever with thee –
God who heals me, makes me whole.
Ever with me in my struggles,
When my sadness knows no end.
Still you calm me, still you comfort,
Still you hold me like a Friend.
