Blessed ae the saints who from their labors rest.

Those who found in God the good, the better, best.

By their sure endurance kept the Lord’s command,

Holding fast to Jesus, found the Promised Land.

 

High upon Mount Zion stands the Righteous Lamb.

‘Round him all the angels praise the Great I Am.

“Worship! Worship Jesus!” This their constant cry;

Loud their words repeating, “Fear and glorify.”

 

There they sing a new song raised before the throne

Like no song before it ever learned or known.

Melody of glory, pure angelic theme

Played by heaven’s harpists, voiced by the redeemed.
