From Mendelssohn’s ELIJAH, this full chorus is offered here with an updated text which replaces “He” with “God” and “Israel” with “all the world” throughout. This will work well in situations where gender titles are avoided and the text is widened from the Hebrew people to everyone.

Also the neighboring parts double the adjacent part when they are not involved. Every note of the vocal lines follows the regularly-sung settings of this classic… so if people in your choir already know the chorus, they only have to adjust the text as they sing!
