Description

This SATB abbreviated setting of the closing chorus from Mendelssohn’s oratorio ELIJAH can be used as a call to worship or as a short worship anthem.

Originally in the key of D, this setting is lowered to C, making the highest note in the soprano a G! The only alteration in the text is changing “thy” to “your”. Most of the voicings remain the same as various editions in common use.
